On top of being a Sondheim expert, Gail Leondar-Wright is an enthusiastic and warm educator who shares her vast knowledge with an excitement that is contagious.

Lyric Stage and the Boston Public Library presented a compelling talk by Gail based around our production of Assassins.  Illustrated with slides and videos, Gail’s presentation dug deeply into Sondheim’s intention, execution, and craft.  And her many anecdotes about the show were gems to those who participated.
